System to Evaluate the Excellence of Research (SEER)
Getting Started
The submission period for Cluster One, the Physical, Chemical and Earth Sciences (PCE) cluster opens on 1 June 2009.
Access to SEER
Once you have your user name and password you will be able to access the IT system to support ERA, known as the System to Evaluate the Excellence of Research (SEER). Please contact the ERA Helpdesk on era@arc.gov.au, or call (02) 6287 6755 if you have not yet been issued with your login details.
SEER will be open for submissions for a period of five weeks – from 1 June to 3 July 2009. It will be in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week during this period. A regular scheduled maintenance window exists from 7:30pm until 9:30pm AEST on Wednesday evenings (during which time service may be disrupted). If the system is to be taken offline for any additional scheduled maintenance period(s) then advice will be given to participating institutions with 24 hours notice.
Please note that SEER will not accept Humanities and Creative Arts (HCA) cluster submissions during the PCE submission period. The HCA submission period opens on 3 August 2009.
How to Get Started
If you are unsure about how to get started with your PCE submission, contact the ERA Helpdesk. The ARC will provide helpdesk support for institutions throughout the PCE submission period during normal AEST business hours.
